FAQ

  • Q
What is the Enerhuis Smart Power Sensor used for?

Monitor specific electrical data of household power devices, typically paired with a clean energy collector, smart charging station, and energy storage unit.

  • Q
What communication methods does the power sensor support?

Supports wired communication via RS485/CAN, as well as wireless communication through Wi-Fi/LoRa, enabling stable network connectivity even in complex installation environments such as basements or areas with weak signals.

  • Q
Is it easy to install? Can I install it myself?

Yes. The installation of the power sensor is very simple and convenient. With a 35mm DIN Rail design, a snap-fit transformer is configured, and a separation design for terminals and plugs is adopted. Self-installation only takes 10 minutes, significantly improving the efficiency of on-site installation.

  • Q
Is the smart power sensor compatible with my existing energy monitoring system?

Smart power sensor is specifically designed for seamless compatibility with the Enerhuis product family, including Smart Energy Harvester and Enerhuis Smart EV Charger. It provides accurate data on energy usage and generation, which can be integrated with other smart systems, but it is not universally compatible with all energy monitors.

  • Q
Can the smart power sensor be used outdoors?

While smart power sensor is designed primarily for indoor use, it can be installed in certain sheltered outdoor locations. However, direct exposure to harsh weather conditions is not recommended, as it may affect performance.
